Of those, they might get a purchase rate of between perhaps 2% and 5%, depending on the product and the sales page.
So lets be conservative and take an example. Lets suppose that your list is 200,000 (I happen to know its a lot more), and you mail for a product that sells for $100.
Your commission is 50% (that's small for an info product), so you're making $50 per sale.
Now, using the worst-case scenario of the above percentages, lets look at how just one email to your list performs...
You mail to 200,000. You get an open rate of 10% and a buy rate of 2%.
10% x 200,000 = 20,000 people who read your email.
2% x 20,000 = 400 people buy the product.
400 x $50 = $20,000 earned from that email.
Yes, that is twenty thousand bucks from a single email promoting a $100 product to your list. And all that money is yours. You don't have to share it with anyone...
