Do you know what the acronym for mediocrity is, - it is "Meeting Everyday In On Going Concern Regarding Income Time & Yearning" Do those of us who are affiliates really want to put the work in? Or are we so worried about failing that we never get going?

We all know that terrible feeling when our time has been wasted. But rather than understand what we did during that time, we tend to look for the next best thing. Then we attempt this in a mediocre fashion. Never really getting our teeth into it and because our efforts are partial our results become partial.

We never really understand the psychology of ourselves. If we would take the time to understand ourselves we would be able to understand what people are looking for and how they looking for it, simply because we ourselves are out there doing the same thing.

We take the path of least resistance as do most people. We want one line answers to complex problems. So it begs the question what is understanding? What does it mean? Understanding can only take place in relationship. Understanding is not a conclusion or an opinion.

Understanding is living because living is relationship. You or I would not be here without relationship, without one another. We could not breathe without fresh air. We understand our reactions in relationship to an event (stimulus) or in relationship with another. I do not want to go too deep here so let's keep it simple.

When you log into your stats and see that you have no sales your brain reacts. It may react as follows, "this is not working scrap it and move on" or "it's too much effort lets look for something simpler"

Your reaction occurred relative to your sales numbers. So through understanding and observation you see your reactions as negative.

Realizing this you say ok. This is a fact; these are the reactions which take place when I do not get results. Now do not bring in the word "should" and say I should be positive because that is the opposite of reality.

The reality is you reacted like this. Once you fundamentally realize your reactions then through observation slowly but surely you will start to find out what is behind it and like a math problem when you understand it, then it no longer occupies your mind. From then forward you move in a different direction. No one has to tell you to step away form the edge of a cliff when you realize its there.

You know what I realized. My heart was not in it. I would just follow blindly do some minor traffic techniques, read a sales letter here and there slap together a campaign, put my landing page up and just wait for the money. Yes it was about money, as sick as that may sound.

There was a contradiction in my mind because I did not feel good about what I was doing. It was all about me. Let me tell you this, if your heart does not beat you are not living. When your heart is in something, work does not enter your mind.

Happiness which to me is the essence of success is superficial if it is dependent on something because then it will always have fear behind it. But when you are honest and share your challenges you inevitably help others, then happiness is right there without you even knowing it.

I challenge you to be honest. Success is inevitable when there is truth. When you share with others what you are feeling. When you share the struggles you are experiencing you will help others face their challenges and as a result together we succeed.
