A good way to start directing traffic to your site is by using a signature file in forums. To find specific forums for your niche is to put your niche forum and google it. For example, if I was doing real estate for our area - (my next project idea!) I would google Montana real estate forum and post around in the forum.

In some forums you may not be able to blatantly advertise but you can have a link to your website or blog in your signature and expose your site to hundreds or thousands of viewers on the forums and by the way, for smart affiliate marketing advertising, have your links in ALL your signatures, in your emails - anywhere that you sign your name!
